That\u2019s allowed the cannabis culture to emerge from the underground, It\u2019s also opened the door for some interesting business concepts and great new products for cannabis consumers.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of Marin, he teamed with award-winning Zach Neil to create <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/muncheechos\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Muncheechos<\/a>. It\u2019s a virtual brand operated out of ghost kitchens across the United States that will deliver food directly to your door. It specializes in late night deliveries, naturally.<\/p>\n<p>Marin launched the business to give people something good to satisfy the munchies, which are as inevitable as the sun rising in the east for most cannabis users (just one of the many <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dispensaries.com\/blog\/fun-facts-about-marijuana\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fun facts about marijuana<\/a>). The company co-founded by Marin &#8211; who ought to know his munchie food &#8211; immediately took off. Orders have increased 8,000 percent in the first few months of business, according to the company.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What\u2019s On the Muncheechos\u2019 Menu?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Given that the man who helped found the company has extensive experience in both cannabis and late-night munchies, people might expect a varied and tasty menu from Muncheechos. And those people would be right.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some highlights from the <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1ZHF8rhrh-1RWO0YTEIpHCCYpsBmtInIc\/view\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Muncheechos delivery menu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Up in Smoke<\/strong>. Cherry wood and hemp smoked Brisket tacos with a chili pepper wine demi-glace and garlic lime crema.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Far Out Far East<\/strong>. Red pepper and tomato curry naan bread pizza with herbed and salted pulled chicken, goat cheese and garlic cream.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Muncheechos Munchachos<\/strong>. Barbecue chicken Mac and Cheese nachos. Creamy Mac and cheese, pulled barbecue chicken, sweet pickled jalape\u00f1os, and crispy tortilla chips.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Roll One<\/strong>. Buffalo chicken and blue cheese eggroll with smoked cheddar and southwest ranch.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Twitchy Burger<\/strong>. Ranch dusted grilled beef burger, crispy fried onions, jalape\u00f1o jam, three cheese sauce, shred lettuce, butter toasted bun (there\u2019s a vegetable option with an impossible patty).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Work Daze<\/strong>. A soup and sandwich combination of creamy tomato bisque, chipotle cream, grilled three cheese on Texas toast, and garlic butter spread.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The menu also includes \u201cMunchee bites\u201d like gooey peanut butter popcorn, kettle corn, battered onion rings, batter fried mushrooms and ranch sauce, plain salted frites, veggies (carrots, broccoli, peppers) and ranch sauce, and sliced apples and almond butter.<\/p>\n<p>Sweets? Muncheechos offers warm double chocolate fudge brownie bites with salted caramel or salted chocolate sauce. Also, a salted chocolate chip cookie and oatmeal raisin cookie (both \u201chuge\u201d), and \u201cMunchee balls,\u201d which are deep-fried dough balls rolled in caramel and cinnamon sugar.<\/p>\n<p>Those are just a few of the highlights. Suddenly, that 8,000 percent number starts to make more sense, right?<\/p>\n<h3><strong>What\u2019s a Ghost Kitchen?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The term \u201cghost kitchen\u201d refers to kitchens set up for delivery service. While they may offer drive-through or walk-up windows, they do not have an area for people to come inside and sit. In the case of Muncheechos, the ghost kitchens are delivery only.<\/p>\n<p>Muncheechos adopted ghost kitchens in order to quickly provide service in locations around the country. When the company first launched in Los Angeles in late 2021, Neil <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/markets\/cannabis\/21\/11\/23960052\/cheech-marin-award-winning-chef-launch-late-night-food-delivery-service-featuring-stoner-food\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">told<\/a> Benzinga that the concept saved time and money.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith ghost kitchens, we don\u2019t need to invest millions in real estate or expensive licenses, a large staff or fancy building. We simply lease a small commercial kitchen space staffed with 4 people and we are ready to blaze,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The company hopes for success by taking advantage of four trends: the increase in cannabis use, the high demand for delivery services, premiumization and the post-COVID \u201chomebody economy,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qsrmagazine.com\/news\/actor-cheech-marin-launches-marijuana-themed-virtual-brand\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">according<\/a> to food industry magazine QSR.
